Seminole Hard Rock Tampa honra nuestra herencia hispana

Este pasado 18 de septiembre Viva Polk Magazine tuvo el privilegio de vivir de cerca la celebración del Mes de la Herencia 2025 en el Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Más allá del brillo, la música y la gastronomía de lujo, lo que nos llevamos fue un profundo orgullo de ver cómo este lugar honra y apoya a nuestra comunidad hispana.

Al preguntar qué hace único a este resort, la respuesta fue sencilla pero poderosa: “Ofrecemos una experiencia completa, donde cada visita es inolvidable.” dijo Manny Medina, gerente de mercadeo. Y así lo sentimos. Desde los espectáculos en vivo hasta la memorabilia de artistas latinos icónicos, todo respira energía, ritmo y cultura.

Lo que más nos conmovió fue descubrir el compromiso comunitario. “Celebramos la herencia latina con música y gastronomía, pero también apoyamos a organizaciones locales que fortalecen nuestra gente”, dijo Ana Claudia Solorzano, Directora de Mercadeo. Y no son solo palabras: este año donaron más de $100,000 a entidades como Enterprising Latinas, Coalition of Hispanic Artists, Course of Action Foundation, Hispanic Heritage Network of Orange County, Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund, Hispanic Outreach Center, Hispanic Star, Roberto Clemente Foundation, USF – Latino Scholarship Program y Krewe of Sant Yago Education Foundation.

También disfrutamos al escuchar sobre la propuesta culinaria para estas estas fechas, carne asada, tostones, empanadas, arroz con pollo y postres como el tres leches y hasta especiales de langosta, la herencia se celebra también a través del sabor. Cada plato cuenta una historia y conexión con nuestras raíces.

Cuando pedimos un mensaje para la comunidad hispana de Florida Central, la respuesta fue clara: “Descubran su ritmo, celebren su herencia y siéntanse bienvenidos en cada detalle.”

Esa es, precisamente, la sensación con la que salimos: bienvenidos. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa no solo es un destino de entretenimiento, sino un aliado que celebra nuestra cultura y fortalece a quienes trabajan por ella. Y eso, para Viva Polk, es motivo de orgullo hispano.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Honors Our Hispanic Heritage

This past September 18, Viva Polk Magazine had the privilege of experiencing up close the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Beyond the glamour, music, and fine cuisine, what we took away was a deep pride in seeing how this place honors and supports our Hispanic community.

When asked what makes this resort unique, the answer was simple yet powerful: “We offer a complete experience, where every visit is unforgettable,” said Manny Medina, Marketing Manager. And that’s exactly how we felt. From live shows to memorabilia of iconic Latino artists, everything breathes energy, rhythm, and culture.

What moved us most was discovering their commitment to the community. “We celebrate Latino heritage with music and cuisine, but we also support local organizations that empower our people,” said Ana Claudia Solorzano, Director of Marketing. And these aren’t just words: this year they donated more than $100,000 to organizations such as Enterprising Latinas, Coalition of Hispanic Artists, Course of Action Foundation, Hispanic Heritage Network of Orange County, Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund, Hispanic Outreach Center, Hispanic Star, Roberto Clemente Foundation, USF – Latino Scholarship Program, and Krewe of Sant Yago Education Foundation.

Seeing how these contributions turn into scholarships, support programs, and opportunities for our community filled us with pride.

We also enjoyed hearing about the culinary offerings for this season—grilled steak, tostones, empanadas, arroz con pollo, and desserts like tres leches, and even lobster specials. Heritage is also celebrated through flavor. Each dish tells a story and connects us with our roots.

When we asked for a message to the Hispanic community of Central Florida, the response was clear: “Discover your rhythm, celebrate your heritage, and feel welcome in every detail.”

That, precisely, is the feeling we left with: welcomed. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is not only an entertainment destination, but also an ally that celebrates our culture and strengthens those who work for it. And that, for Viva Polk, is a true reason for Hispanic pride.
