El arte de sanar con fe: La historia de Victoria Alicia

Desde el momento en que llegó al mundo pesando apenas dos libras y once onzas, Victoria Alicia fue una luchadora. Nació prematura y creció sabiendo que la vida misma era un milagro. “Desde muy pequeña supe que era hija de Dios”, recuerda. Esa convicción se convirtió en la luz que la guiaría durante las tormentas más oscuras de su vida.
Desde niña, Victoria demostró tener un espíritu independiente. En el kínder insistió en pintar patos azules, aunque la maestra le pedía usar los colores propios de la naturaleza. Pero incluso entonces, ella sabía que veía el mundo de una manera diferente. “Me gustaban los patos y me gustaba el color azul”, dice riendo. “Para mí, mis patos azules eran hermosos”.
Años más tarde, ya como madre de dos hijos, la vida volvió a ponerla a prueba. Enfermó de cáncer de pulmón, su salud comenzó a deteriorarse y su matrimonio terminó. En lugar de desesperarse, encontró paz. “Cuando supe mi diagnóstico, me alegré”, cuenta. “Por lo menos ahora sabía qué debía hacer: orar, darle la gloria a Dios y vivir mi propósito”.
Durante cada tratamiento de quimioterapia, oraba con médicos, enfermeras, amigos y hasta desconocidos que llegaban a apoyarla desde distintos lugares, transformando su dolor en un ministerio de fe. “Los momentos más oscuros llegaban de noche”, dice, “pero era entonces cuando la voz de Dios se hacía más fuerte”.
Durante su recuperación, comenzó a pintar: primero formas abstractas, luego leones, símbolo del León de Judá. “La fuerza de Dios que también está en mí”, afirma. Una de sus obras, que inicialmente mostraba tonos rojos y naranjas representando el dolor vivido, terminó transformándose en un león azul triunfante, emergiendo de la oscuridad hacia la luz.
“Ese león era Dios sacándome del infierno”, explica. “Mi arte se convirtió en mi sanación”.
Hoy, Victoria Alicia está en remisión y continúa pintando, transformando su pasión en una fuente de expresión espiritual e independencia financiera. Sus obras, llenas de color, fe y amor divino, están disponibles para la venta, y cada una lleva un mensaje de esperanza y renovación.
Victoria pinta amor, siente amor y comparte amor con todos los que la rodean. Su mayor deseo es que sus hijos —y todos los que contemplen su arte— sientan ese mismo amor de Dios y sepan que, con Él, nunca estarán solos.

From the moment she entered this world weighing just two pounds and eleven ounces, Victoria Alicia was a fighter. Born premature, she grew up knowing that life itself was a miracle. “From a very early age, I knew I was a child of God,” she says. That conviction became the light that guided her through the darkest storms of her life.
As a young girl, Victoria already showed an independent spirit. In kindergarten, she insisted on painting blue ducks while the teacher encouraged her to use nature’s colors. Even then, she knew she saw the world differently. “I liked ducks, and I liked blue,” she laughs. “To me, my blue ducks were beautiful.” That joyful defiance—the freedom to express her soul—never left her.
Years later, as a mother of two, life tested her again. Her marriage ended, her health declined, and after months of uncertainty, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Instead of despair, she found peace. “When I learned my diagnosis, I rejoiced,” she recalls. “At least I knew what I had to do—to pray, give glory to God, and live with purpose.”
Through every round of chemotherapy, she prayed with doctors, nurses, friends, and even strangers who came to support her—turning her pain into a ministry of faith. “The weakest, darkest moments came at night,” she says, “but that’s when I felt God’s voice the strongest.”
During her recovery, she began to paint—first abstract shapes, then lions, symbols of the Lion of Judah. “The strength of God that also lives in me,” she affirms. One painting, once filled with fiery reds and oranges, evolved into a triumphant blue lion, emerging from darkness into light and beauty.
“That lion was God carrying me out of my inferno,” she explains. “My art became my healing.”
Today, Victoria Alicia is in remission and continues to paint—transforming her passion into both spiritual expression and financial independence. Her artwork, filled with color, faith, and divine love, is available for purchase, each piece carrying a message of hope and renewal.
She paints love, feels love, and gives love to everyone she meets. Her greatest wish is that her children—and all who encounter her art—feel that same presence of God’s love and know that through Him, they are never alone.
