Chile elige nuevo gobernante
José Antonio Kast ganó este domingo la segunda vuelta de las elecciones presidenciales de Chile con el 59,1% de los votos emitidos derrotando a la candidata izquierdista Jeannette Jara.
El presidente electo señaló en su primer discurso luego de su victoria, que “cada uno decidirá libremente si quiere sumarse a la recuperación y al renacer de Chile”, porque el país “ha dado un mandato claro, que no admite excusas: no quiere continuidad, quiere un cambio real”.

Chile elects a new leader
José Antonio Kast won the second round of Chile’s presidential elections this Sunday with 59.1% of the votes cast, defeating left-wing candidate Jeannette Jara.
In his first speech after the victory, the president-elect stated that “each person will freely decide whether they want to join the recovery and rebirth of Chile,” adding that the country “has delivered a clear mandate that allows no excuses: it does not want continuity, it wants real change.”
